Self-protection and health-hygiene culture, along with digital tools which create a path for distant education practices, seem to be of utmost importance, now more than ever.

Health promotion and health education in children through Digital Game-Based Learning

Schools have always been the main space where youngsters socialize and educate themselves at the same time. On the other hand, health education has come to the center of attention, especially during the Covid crisis. Self-protection and health-hygiene culture, along with digital tools which create a path for distant education practices, seem to be of utmost importance, now more than ever. The “iLearn4Health” project aims to cover the need for health education to younger ages, while creating innovative and inclusive distant learning tools at the same time.

AIM

The project aims to provide better health education in primary schools by implementing the Digital Game-Based Learning (DGBL) method, while at the same time training the teachers in the theoretical aspects of the concept, as well as the digital tools of the method.
