Upcoming iLearn4Health Piloting Events for PR2 and PR3

The iLearn4Health project is gearing up for a series of exciting piloting events starting this September. PR2 (Digital Educational Games) and PR3 (Online Training Program) are the project’s results that will be piloted. Those results will form a crucial role in promoting health education for children and teachers.
PR2: Digital Educational Games
The development of digital educational games aims to promote health education to primary school’s children. The games are designed for students from 6 to 12 years old and cover topics related with health. The games are built on engaging and interactive gameplay. Furthermore, they are accessible on multiple devices, and they can be easily played into classrooms and/or used at home. This method is based on the Digital Game-Based Learning (DGBL) methodology, which has been shown to support student engagement and understanding of health education content.
PR3: Online Training Program
Apart from the Digital Education Games, iLearn4Health is also launching an online training program targeted at primary school teachers, head teachers and postgraduate students in educational sciences as well. The above-mentioned program focuses on health promotion and education through the same method (DGBL), thus, providing participants with the necessary knowledge and tools to effectively adopt and implement digital games into their teaching methodologies. The training programs will cover various topics in the context of public health.
The upcoming piloting events will allow iLearn4Health to collect feedback in terms of real-world applications, helping us refine and improve the tools and resources before their broader implementation. Stay tuned for more updates!
