Final Transnational Meeting in Athens

On January 14–15, 2025, the iLearn4Health project partners gathered in Athens for the final transnational meeting. Representatives from Greece, Poland, Cyprus, Romania, and Spain worked closely over two productive days to discuss the project’s progress and outline the remaining steps for its successful completion by the end of February.
A key topic of our discussion was the ongoing piloting phase of the online training program and the upcoming classroom testing of the digital educational games. These tools aim to promote health education for children aged 6–12 by integrating interactive and gamified learning approaches. We reviewed the implementation plans for the piloting activities and addressed the expected challenges to ensure smooth execution across all participating countries.
During the piloting phase, teachers and students will test the tools in real classroom settings. Teachers will utilise the training materials and educational games with their students, providing valuable insights into their usability and effectiveness. This feedback will play a crucial role in the final adjustments before the project’s conclusion.
The online training program will be available for registration from 20th December 2024 to 31st January 2025. Teachers will have access to the training materials until 7th February 2025. The pilot of the digital educational games starts on 13th January 2025 and ends on 7th February 2025.
During the meeting, we also planned the final dissemination activities, the completion of reporting requirements and discussed strategies to sustain the project’s impact after its official completion. With the iLearn4Health initiative nearing its end, we are all committed to delivering tools that empower teachers and inspire young students to embrace health education.
